The BRAMM Memorial Design Awards is open for any memorial already fitted in a Cemetery within the last 5 years.
The Awards are FREE to enter.
The winning design will be marked on its design and innovation qualities, and the winner will receive a £1000 prize along with a BRAMM Gold Award Certificate and a BRAMM Press Release that can be used to promote your work.
Silver Awards will be presented to the runners up along with a BRAMM Press Release to promote your work.
How to Enter: The Awards are now open until 30 June 2026.
Please obtain the family’s permission prior to entering their memorial to the competition.
Please email bramm@bramm-uk.org with upto 3 photographs of the memorial, the name of the cemetery where the memorial has been installed and confirmation that you have the family’s permission to enter the memorial for the Award.
The winning design will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, creativity, innovation and visual impact.
Please note: A 2‘3” ogee with an intricate coloured ornament will not win.
Memorials entered in previous years are not eligible for the competition.

Rules of the Memorial Design of the Year Awards 2026
- The memorial must be on a single grave space
- The memorial may be a lawn memorial with or without kerbs. It may be a cremation memorial.
- The memorial must have been installed in a cemetery within the last 5 years.
- We cannot accept entries for memorial still at the design stage, or still in the workshop.
- Memorial designs submitted to the Awards in previous years will not be accepted.
- Ogees with ornaments will not be considered. Ornaments will not be judged.
- Maximum of 3 entries per company. Please submit 3 photos per entry.
- Entries must be received between March 31st and June 30th 2026.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Any photographs submitted may be used for publicity/marketing purposes by BRAMM, and submitted to industry journals for publicity/marketing purposes.
